Training Course Dates and Fees

Training Fees:

You can elect to pay the full amount of the fees (R6,500.00) upfront

or

A payment plan consisting of 3 payments as follows:

  • R2,500.00 deposit on registration
  • R2,150.00 after week 2 of the course
  • R2,150.00 after week 5 of the course

Duration of the course:

The training course is conducted over nine consecutive Saturdays. This is followed by a 3 week practical on weekends, at a care facility (Hospital, Old Age Home and Orphanage). Training starts at 8:30 am until 3:30 pm each Saturday.

Trainer:

Training is conducted by a professional registered nurse, with 40 years experience across a wide spectrum of specialities, which include Neonates, Labour ward, Neuro Medical, Neuro Surgical, Theatre, Pediatrics, ICU & Highcare and Midwife.

Certification:

Trainees will receive a certificate after completing the course as well as a written and practical exam. A 3 week practical work assignment will follow at a care facility, after the training. During the practical, assessments will be carried out by a staff nurse. The practical work is deemed community service, and therefore no salary will be paid for this.
